Can I return my license key?

Yes. As long as you haven’t activated the key, you can return it within 14 days via the [[self-service form]] — you get a full refund. You can also reach out to hi@grafcet.io. Activating the key starts the service and your right of withdrawal expires (§ 356(5) German Civil Code).

Why does payment go through Paddle?

Paddle is the Merchant of Record (based in London) and therefore the official seller of the license. Paddle handles payment, invoicing and the correct VAT/sales tax worldwide. This makes it easy to offer licenses quickly and securely in many countries.

Which payment methods are available?

Which methods are available depends on your device and country — Paddle automatically shows the right ones, typically credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Schools and businesses can pay by invoice/bank transfer on request.

Does the license renew automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no auto-renewal and no subscription trap. When your license expires, you decide whether to buy a new one.

What happens when my license expires?

Your existing GRAFCETs are kept. You only lose the Pro features, and the free limit of 3 cloud GRAFCETs applies again: the 3 most recently edited stay accessible, all others are locked and kept for another 90 days. During this time you can download all of your GRAFCETs together as a ZIP at any time. After that, the locked ones are automatically deleted.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, on request. Use "Request an invoice" to receive an invoice (payment by bank transfer), payable within 14 days. Ideal for schools, universities and companies.

Is there a discount for educational institutions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Schools, universities and other educational institutions get 20% off. Request an invoice via “Request an invoice” and tick the “educational institution” box. Best use the institution’s official email address; with a private address a short proof of affiliation may be requested.
